I guess we can leave out the C6 -- I believe the guy would know it if he had no overdrive!

So, you're essentially saying that the E4OD has an "overdrive off" button on the column shifter, while the AOD does not, requiring the driver to select the uncircled "D" instead to be limited to the three lower gears?

yeah its the e4od....it has the overdrive button on the shifter.. thanks guys.. next is diagnosing the rear end..i gotta climb under there and read the tag. im assuming its a 3:55 with ls... gonna look at that on sunday..
