Got 06 f350 drw and would like to lift. Just curious as to good kits. I've read where leveling kits aren't really recommended for "off road use" so thinking spend extra money for lift kit. Any ideas?? 4" or 6" lift??
It isn't "off roading" but just we have some roughroads around and would like suspension lil more stable than 2" spacer inbetween spring to lift. Seen there's some 4" and 6" lift kits...just curious as to good products since there's so many
Generally, if they fall within your budget, we suggest suspension systems from Icon Vehicle Dynamics, followed by Carli Suspension and Rize Industries. We carry all three, and they all make excellent products.
Recommended lift height would depend on your intended use and desired stance. For coil-sprung Super Duties, 4.5"-6" seem to be the most popular, allowing the use of up to 37" tires. You can of course go higher or lower. There are high quality kits for anything from 2.5" up to 9" of lift or more.
If you could give us a better idea of what you're after and your budget, we can give you some more specific ideas.
Yes do have coil suspension up front. Mainly just wanna give a "tougher look" to the truck. Think really a 4" or 4.5" lift would be enough. Leveling kit lifts look nice but would like to be a lil higher. Is it big difference from 4" to 6" lift? As far as spending budget..guessing from prices I've seen $800-$1500...somehwere inbetween there
