i rub when i put the body in a twist at full lock also. i was thinking of going to 305's next time i buy tires. but these tires only have 2000 miles on them so i dont have to worry if the 2 inch leveling will be enough to fit the 305 for awhile.
Thanks cookie
I put 295 on the truck cuz i was told it would not rub. So now i need to level the truck before i was wanting to.
Keith
I plan on installing a set of BFG All-Terrains (295/75/16) this week and have no lift kit installed. Based on information I found on the National Tire & Wheel website (http://www.ntwonline.com/template.cfm?ID=9), I am under the impression they will fit with no rubbing. Think it could be the difference in the model year of our trucks?
Well I sent a long list of questions to the seller on that item, it looks legit, but I want to know some more specifics about it. I was thinking of getting a complete new spring pack from either superlift or Rough counter that did a 2" level, but the price of these and keeping a factory ride is more appealing. When I learn some more will post. Nice find Keith, hopefully it turns out good.

i was told the same thing that they would fit. No problem except when i turn around in my drive way, granted it may not be what most people would call a drive way
that is the style of lift i am getting. i already have a "leveling" 5-leaf spring pack, so all i need to do is drop the springs down, and my lift does just that. blocks in the rear.

What size of blocks are you goin with in the rear? If they are the ones that come in the 4.5 inch kit, and you use your current leveling kit springs i beleive you'll be a little nose high.

how much leveling or how much are you looking to raise the front? Just enough to fit 305's or are you wanting it completely leveled out?
I just realized this but what if you combine this kit with an add a leaf? Would that get you 3 inches of lift in the front? I have an f250 and I plan on replacing the rear blocks with the 4in blocks from a f350. Would this work? I would have an extra 3 in the front and 2 in the rear.

Is it just me or does the shank of them bolts appear to be threaded too far for the application? Not sure if the threads being inside the shackle have an impact but I would feel better about it if they weren't. JMO. Otherwise looks good.
Just an opinion here, but I tried this once on my CJ-7.
The increase in height created a wierd rotation to the front axel that made the steering respond funny.
I believe it's called the caster angle - which changed and made it steer oddly.
By pushing the truck upward by lengthing the front shackel, the axel is actually rotated.
