Funny issue intermitently
First do a KOEO test. plug it in turn key on and put the code flasher on test. After you get the engine id ( 4 flashes) you have to press the gas to the floor and let it go and cycle the OD button if you have one. It will give IDM codes first I think and then PCM codes. The codes are different than one with the obd dlc active too. YOu will have to google 94 f350 pcm codes or something.
The engine needs to be above 160 degrees oil temp for this and the KOER test.
To do the buzz test after the last code has flashed then press the pedal to the floor and let it go. Then it will do the buzz test if the oil is warm enough. If not you will get an error code.
The easiest thing to do is get the pcm reflashed to 96 or later level programming then you can use the obd2 DLC under the dash. You need a breakout box to further diagnose what you got and that ain't fun.
