I'm doing brakes on my 150 and I'm having issues with getting the Mile Marker manual locking hubs off so that I can get to the rotor. The first picture is of what is still on the hub, the second is what I have taken off so far, I did this once before and for the life of me I can't remember what do to from here.
It looks like the gear that is on the spindle needs to come off then I can remove the housing and then the nut and bearing but it won't budge. I can't see anymore snap rings or anything holding it in place. I tried to pull it off but nothing happens. The last time I did this I don't remember it being this hard to do, it seamed like everything just came off nice and easy. PLEASE HELP!!!!
From the looks of things, you removed the big retaining ring and the small circlip, so you should be able to thread a couple of the cap bolts into the hub and pull it right out.
I'm guessing it's just hung up in there, as that hub looks a little mangled.
It would seem, from the pics, that you have everything off. It may be that the universal joint (just behind the knuckle) is stiff and keeping a side pressure on the assembly. Try moving the joint up, down, left and right as you withdraw the parts.
It looks like you only took off one nut. There is another one in there plus a lock washer of sorts. Use a pick of some kind to fish around in there and hook the washer then pull it out. The other nut is behind it and should spin off without much effort.

I tried putting in the hex bolts that hold on the hub cap and pulled with everything I had, didn't even budge. BUT that is what I thought I did next last time. THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS. LOL

I think the nuts your thinking of are behind the locking hub. it should just pull out!

That is the next step.. if its binding up, try GENTLY tapping in with a flat punch on the area between the holes and then pull again on the bolts you have threaded in, see if that will get it loose
What about the gear (marked red) that is on the spindle (marked green)? It looks like the spindle moves freely in and out inside that gear. Behind that (yellow) is a flat washer that is holding down the whole case. It looks like I would need to remove that before I can take that out. the thing is that I can't get that gear off. Any ideas?
It looks as though your hub(the piece the locking hub slides into) is pretty gouged up. Maybe so much that the locking hub cannot slide past the gouged up spot
Every things looks to be off. Spray some WD-40 or Between the big AL. part and the wheel hub, let it sit a min or two, then thread in two screws in to the big AL. part. While pulling on the two screws tap on the wheel hub with a hammer. Spin the hub from time to time and keep taping with a hammer. Look pretty nasty inside there.
Be sure to slop some grease around the AL. part before you install it in the hub. That way next time it will slide out with out all the fight. ... Be sure to check your seals as with all that rust and muck it looks as the insides been getting pretty wet for a while now.

That's what Im thinkin, I was bent in a little when I pulled off and I used a flat punch to pop it back out. I may need to work at it some more.
HELL **** YEAH!!!!!! I GOT IT OUT. Thank you everyone. It was really really tight in there. I used a flat head screwdriver and pried it back and foward and it started to move. Thanks again everyone!!
