Is there a source for Fisher balancers? I couldn't find anything but rumor and innuendo with a Google search. I really don't want to spend $400+ on a Fluidamper for a vehicle that will never see over 5,000 rpm...
What about a neutral balance SBF damper? Other than figuring out the pulleys it would fit, no worries, right?
I'm looking for something that doesn't slip over time and has timing marks to 50 degrees BDTC. The top end ones are much better at eliminating vibration at high rpm, which is nice but not really an issue for my 300.
Ahhh... Makes sense.
I agree, the extra timing marks would be really nice. I looked into timing tape to put on mine, but it doesn't fit on the thin edge of the balancer on the 300. Eventually, I measured and used a file to nick new timing marks. One for 10, 20, 30, etc.
