help f350
traveling, pulling 5th wheel, heard huge pop and lost turbo power,
what can we look for , just had the turbo changed last year, not even 10,000 miles on the new one
also can we still drive the truck to the ford garage if the turbo is not working

the ic boot going to the turbo probably popped off, its blue see if its not attached to the turbo anymore. most likely thats what the problem is because it happened to my uncles 550 6.0 while towing all the time until we put an aftermarket hose on

In my case, I had a hose pop off.
Limped to gas station.
Went to hardware store, bought 2 garden variety hose clamps (the dryer hose ones).
Mounted them --- drove with a very light foot (little boost).
I got back home.
Got the proper clamps from the dealer.
Installed them.
Lesson learned.
Bet you the problem was the last "repair" guy didn't tighten / install them properly.
Alternative: hose cracked.
In which case, replace it with new.
Limped to gas station.
