4wd not working

03 supercrew. Turn the **** to 4hi and nothing happens. no light, no engagement. Where do i even start to look

iwould start with checking the fuses... go here to page 182

There 10 AMP fuse in your Central Junction Box #23, that should be checked first. ALLDATAdiy has all of the factory A tests for this symptom.
