I think that was because you are dead from not wearing a coat in the winter!

Happy Friday everyone! For those of you who don't have Friday today, happy whatever day this is. Just got my COBRA paperwork in the mail, $1080/mo to continue coverage, how do you pay that while unemployed? I seriously don't think my employer was paying that much. Good thing DH has insurance!

Craig I always though you could recognize the snowbirds by the fact that they wore Hawaiian shirts and sandals in the middle of winter while everyone else had a coat on.

Good Morning Everyone.

Michelle, I see a few of them like that but most are bundled except in the 80 degree weather. Maybe I just live with the real old people. Last night at the Jazz Concert at Yuma Palms Shopping Complex I was the only one in shorts. most were covered with blankets it was in the low 60s high 50s.

Believe me, Sam, I wish! I miss my MX bike and even miss racing it. Unfortunately, all I have now is my sportbike (2005 Yamaha YZF-R1), but I do take that to the track and race it at LVMS, so I can't complain.

At some point I'd like to get another Yamaha YZ250F, so I can get back on the dirt. It's been too long.

I know your pain...I used to ride until I was about 19...sold the bike for another car and didn't get another dirt bike until I was 36....that is a LOOOONG gap in riding and it takes awhile to get back to where you used to be in skill level...lol. I hope you get your bike soon...don't wait too long like I did.

GOOD EVENING MATT & SAM.

I ride an 06 Suzuki SV650S. Now that I'm back in Arizona I ride about every day. My wife bought it for me for my 58th Birthday in 08. It was new with 3 miles on it. I only put 5000 miles on it in two years living in Nevada. It sat more than I rode it. I'm making up for it now believe me. I use to ride dirt. Never raced just enjoyed the desert. But I'm getting too old to ride dirt these days. I have a bad back & I have no brains when I get on the dirt. A buddy of mine that use to race motocross professionally out of Sacramento told me years ago I was good enough to be dangerous. Sometime no brains on the street. I love the rush of speed.

Good afternoon everyone. I'm back from drill and have to go again in two weeks In the same weekend as Super Bowl Sunday And to top it off, I have a 200 mile drive from drill to home

On the bright side, I am starting to feel better and I only have 14 more months to go.

GOOD EVENING NEVADA.

Another great day in Paradise. It so difficult to live where the sun shines 350 days a year & in January the daytime temps are in the mid 70s.

Jeff, glad to hear your feeling better. I'll go to drill for you, I don't give a darn about the Super Bowl. I don't even know who is playing. I do know it isn't the Cards or a west coast team.
