Sleeping in an Explorer

I'm in the market for something I can use as a camping/expedition vehicle. Thinking about an early- or mid-90's Explorer. Do these have enough room in the back for a person under 6 feet tall to sleep comfortably with the seat removed or folded down?

Long enough, but not completely flat. A foam pad will usually cover the lumps.

I used to sleep in a Chevy Citation, so the Explorer would be like the Ritz...

If you are going into bear country, consider an armored Econoline.

If you are going into bear country to sleep a portable electric fence is easy to use, cheap, and protects you and all of your stuff.
