Trey, I've seen quite a few of your company's trucks rolling around Austin and I even heard a radio commercial from your company looking for employees with CDLs. Oil business around here must be booming? I say get it while you can with the way price of oil's dropping.

oh Utah, Lived there for a while..Salt Lake City and Price. Hated the cold but it had great summers
Yes sir. It is great up here right now. Nice to get outta the Houston heat! I actually got time after work today to go up to Olympic Village. It is absolutely beautiful up here!
So I went with the wife to Albertsons today to pick up a few things. We already had steaks for the grill tomorrow, but I decided to browse through the meat section anyway just for S&G. They had pork ribs on sale buy 1 get 2 free. I walked out with 18 lbs of some good looking ribs for $21. Looks like the steaks will wait till later in the week and I'll be cooking ribs tomorrow.
Do it while your young and sock some away for savings that you'll never touch!

steve, ive got 12% goin into my 401K and halliburton matches 7%. got another 10% goin into stocks and bonds. both are pre-tax deductions. i intend to look at them as little as possible for the next 20 years or so.
woody, i managed to get in before havin a CDL was a requirement. they sent me to a two week school to train me in the basics, then let me claim the cost of gettin my CDL as purdium, and then sent me to another week of school, drivin at night, backin maneuvers, and confidence buildin. all paid for. not to mention, some badass benefits such as listed above. also, the word from management is that shale has a pretty good standin, and theres at least another two or three years of work in our area. in that amount of time, ill already be high enough on the food chain to avoid bein laid off when things slow down again.
