I have one off of my 78 Bronco. It is missing the light on one side, but I believe that the mounting tabs are both still on it. I'd have to check to see about the bottom flanges being rounded or not, I believe the bolt holes in the bumper were slightly filed to make it fit. I'm not going to use it so if anyone is near north western Ky, it could be bought
See HIO Silver there is a market for them? Do you have one for a pattern?
I've saved quite a few images for reference and will need to reverse engineer the dimensions and bend angles... unless one of ya FTE'ers wants can help me to determine them. Here's the info I would need:
Main hoop overall length (use a tailor's tape measure):
Main hoop vertical angle (one side) when looking a the truck head-on:
Tube angle in profile (how much it leans forward):
I'd fab the mounting plates and bolt'em to my rig and then bend and tack weld the tubing to fit.
I will attempt to help out, since I have 3 of them, but no tailors tape. The wife might, she will love me snooping in her sewing box, she will say I did not loose anything in there, get out!
while you are at it you might want to see what parts from the Bronco would fit these Ford trucks an get all the parts that would fit an sell them. It might just be cheaper to buy the whole thing an take off what you need an just sell the rest as a project.
