Does it look like everythings there? Any reason not to put an exhaust brake on on IDI?

There is no reason why it wouldn't work. The issue is some fear of the weaker valve springs not holding the pressure at high rpm's on a decel and an end result being the valves hitting the top of the pistons. But everything in life is a risk, I'd use one at that low price just don't let it over rev.

John, sorry for falling behind. Why are you looking for a cab? What kind of cab are you looking for? I have a couple.

Seems like when I was reading about exhaust brakes last winter they were turbo-mounted....
Anybody have confirmation on this?

The one in this post is for a turbo mount. Perfect for my Banks Sidewinder.

My old cab is so rotted that I decided to finally replace it. What I have now is a 93 extended cab XLT, so as close to that as possible. Has to be extended cab, but thats the only real requirement. Any F150 F250 or F350 cab from something like 1980-1997 will work. Hoping to find one local, OK is a long drive for me lol.

Rust-free cab in MI, good luck with that. You may wanna try Southern Truck in Imlay City, they are in the business of buying nice trucks from the south and hauling them to MI and then parting them out...

It'd probably be fine if you ad some sort of bypass to keep it below 15psi-

Oh, yes, forgot about the backpressure issue - John, is there a way you can check what make and model the brake is, and from that pull its backpressure numbers?
