trans question

trans question

I have a 93 F250 na 7.3 with a E4OD trans that is bad. will a E4OD out of a 97 powerstroke bolt up and work in my 93? tia

From what I understand the 97 trans is the most desireable. It has already had some of the upgrades done to it from the factory. It will work but I'm not sure if there is anything you will have to do to make it work as I have never tried it myself.

ok the tc need to be for a 90 truck cause it has 4 studs vs psd has 6 studs also the solenoid bodys need to be swapped out cause the psd solenoids will fry the tcu in our trucks. so you will need to buy a tc and solenoid body for a 90 truck then you can go
