Broken Starter Mount. PICS
After what I thought was other starting issues i come to find out that the bracket to hold the starter has broken in half. I just had the transmisson replaced last month and now all of a sudden the half of the bracket/mount is attached to the starter and other half on the motor. The starter does mount to the Transmisson correct????

) but the tranny is a Ford unit - and used on the 5.4 and 6.8's also - and the 7.3 engine is an Navistar/International therefore the need for this spacer. Maybe this is the reason for the threads to be on the spacer verses on the tranny? Like I stated, just guessing.

yea but i have been looking at pictures of transmission and it seems like there are holes for the bolts. Thats it. Sorry if im not on your level. I have now viewed pictures of the plate. Could over tightening the bolts to the plate cause it crack they way it did.
