Is it different than the gas C-6? Or could you modify a gas cover to work? I am completely out of my knowledge here, but seems you could find something to modify?
Yes there is cover/inspection plate on the c6. I have one out in the shed that was on mine before the swap to the t18. It is just a flat steel plate that goes up to the oil pan and down to the bottom of the bell houseing. The bolts that hold it in place are 1/4 or 5/16 I think and the holes are located around the outer edge of the bell houseing.
The C-6 does have the cover and its held in by 4 bolts. The cover is only unique to the C-6 diesel engine the gas covers will not fit. This reminds me I need one to I ripped mine off on a rock over a year ago.
That cool PLC7.3... all the books I have don't show one either. My problem is I need one for my t18. Seems everyone around here took them off and none of the yard trucks have one. I am hoping that the spare rig I bought has one on it.
Would a metal shop making you one be a possibility? I would think they could fab one up for you if they had demensions and everything of it.
Just a suggestion.
