Outside Temperature reading on 2008 XLT?
What's the simplest way to get an outside temp indication on a 2008 SD XLT? Can the electronic temp control just be directly plugged in to get full functionality?

I do not know if the EATC would be plug and play. I doubt it, and I know it would be expensive.
You asked the simplest way to get outside temp. That would be an aftermarket rearview mirror with temp and compass, or you could install a Ford overhead console with temp, compass, and storage compartments. That's what I did to my XLT.
