2008 XLT - Lariat Cluster Swap
I would like to swap my 2008 XLT F-250 5.4L cluster for a Lariat cluster. Has anyone done this?

What's the difference? My 02 is the same for all trim levels. The only difference is the redline on the tachometer.

The 2008 XLT has a black face cluster and the Lariat is white and has more computer functions.

Any of you techies know the answer? Lariat cluster in an XLT?

i somehow doubt your trucks PCM will simply reocognize and use the Lariat's additional functions.

I have an 08 F350 lariat and love the white faced gauges,but does have compass and a few other features.

Having done cluster swaps in other vehicles, sometimes the only way to tell is to pull the old one and compare the pinouts to the new one.
