Sounds like your batteries are dead now.. The sound could be your battery solenoid but that is on the passenger side.. Charge your batteries and then have someone turn your key on (don't start)... while you are under the driver's side looking at fuel pump on the frame.. take a length of heater hose or equiv and place one end on the body of the fuel pump and the other end to your ear.. It should make a noise while pumping fuel for a few seconds and quit.. See if this is the noise you are hearing prior to start up.... or is this noise you are hearing during cranking of the starter motor ????

im not getting the noise with just the key on the "on" position only when i start the truck. I am getting ready to head back to my brothers house now i left it plugged up over there and used his truck to run some errands. and gonna see if it will do it again. Would the starter solenoid make a back noise like that or is it something else
