no throttle up
After having the problem of no cold start, fixed that, starts outside at 14*, romps for a little bit, 10 to 15 seconds, but smooths out quickly, will not throttle up at start, I mean I can't just drive away for a minute or two. This is the same in stock and 80 econo.
Should I remove the tuner to see if it goes away or look for something else ? I never drove this truck in the cold before this year. Purchased it over the summer from Texas.
Thanks for all the help in advance.

I When your trying to drive it, roll down the window and listen to the exhaust. If it makes a really loud wooshing sound, you ebpv is closed trying to warm up.
Also from what i understand oil provides the fuel. So when the oil is cold, it at least doesn't feel like its getting the fuel.
Mine is usually very slow and hesitant if i just start it and drive away, but if i let it idle to half op temp, it is no where near as bad.

I have seen some of the trucks when cold not want to throttle when cold. After a few minutes warming up, they would throttle up and run fine. Is your oil really thick? You might consider changing it to the synthetic 5w40 to see if that will help. I imagine its been cold there this time of year.
throttling up issues
FYI I just replaced my EBPS tube and the problem went away, It was rotted off in the middle of the tube,go to www.guzzle7pt3.com/ebps.php. this tube and sensor is what sends info to the ebsv on the turbo to open and close, if it is clogged or rotten the ebpv is open and closed when it should not be causing throttling/whinning problems. at the very bottom of the turbo there is the ebpv, when cold have someone start the truck and watch the ebpv, it should turn olot at start, if it does not turn alot this is your problem. i just went through it
