sorry, its been a minute. thanks for the info on the lpop. truck originally died in sprfld, mo. fixed it headed back. the rear high pressure line fitting on the new pump blew out of the body at dexter, mo. took the hpop off and had a machine shop drll it thread it and make a brass insert. which blew out in jackson, tn. trucks still there. i made it back to base in a loaner. some weekend after payday and have the parts shipped in i'll go back and get it.

Did I understand correctly from reading the other thread, that the vibration dampener / crank pulley bolt is left-hand-thread on a 7.3?

In Post #30 of the other thread it reads:
"Don't forget, left hand threads, so rotate the breaker clockwise to remove the nut."

Which are the left-hand threads?

Not sure which "other" post you're refering to but I just got done instaling the dampner and its a right hand thread. Could they be refering to the fan clutch?

Haven't done the LPOP replacement yet, but the way I interpret post #30 in https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...ml#post9248539
is that the crankshaft nut is left-hand thread. Is this correct?
