hard shifting after a flush?

hard shifting after a flush?
I did a flush on my truck at school since i got to use it for free, after i did the flush my trans is hard shifting. Its not slipping into gear just hard shifting , all gears.
Any one have this happen, alot of people said dont flush it but i didnt listen seeing as i had so much luck with my other cars.
The reason i wanted to do this flush was my trans had slow or sluggish shifting before. Just seemed like the trans was startin to slip a little. Now its very firm and like new except fot the hard shifting.
It only hard shifts when i have accelerate hard pushing the pedal 3/4 of the way down. Driving normally the trans operates perfectly.
Can anyone shed some light on this or have this happen to them? and i ran valvoline mercon v and one bottle of lube guard black bottle .
