its out of a 90 bronco, i need to know what trans case this is , i forget, and what kinda shifter i need or if it just be easier to make my own shifter, my stock tcase was different, as the shifter thru te floor was closer to the tranny shifter,, if that makes sense
It's a Borg-Warner, not sure if it's a 1345 or 1356, I don't know how to tell them apart, but it's one of those. My 83 F250 has one, and the linkage looks very similar.
Could you do me a favor and figure out the size on that gigantic bolt that holds the linkage to the trans? (it's seriously the most over-engineered thing I've ever seen.)
Shark Racer, This bolt is an odd size. Larger than 1 1/16" Smaller than 1 1/8", 28mm perhaps?

Here is the stick:

There is a bend in two planes:

And how it fits over the stub:

I'd take the stick sure. Just does it come out closer to the drivers side of tunnel or more on top of tunnel. Cause id have to cut hole if its more on the side
It is on the side and needs to move to the left in order to lift the tab out of the quadrant and shift.
You can see the little rubber "spring" in your selector.
If you are capable of fabricating one I'm sure you can heat and bend this one any way you need it to be.
