I just want to get a rough idea of what your mpgs are in your truck. Post up your truck specs engine size, weight, performance mods, tires, lift, etc. and your mpgs, and also vote on the poll please.
Bone stock F100/300I6/T18 except the engine mods listed in my sig, should be getting at least 20 according to others in the Inlines forum, only getting 11mpg.
A consistent 15 mpg average with a 302 EFI roller H.O. from a 95 Stang, stock truck intake, Mass Air conversion with 91 A9P calibration computer, 3:55s, stock AOD, 32X11.5 15s, and a very heavy right foot....
About 16-20 MPG. Not 100% accurate, I haven't crunched any numbers or done any serious tests, but by watching the fuel gauge vs. the odometer, I got a pretty good idea of what I was getting, I think.
1984 F150, 300 I6, .30 Overbore, DSII Conversion, All emissions equipment and EEC computer removed, 31x10.50x15 tires, 4 speed transmission, 4x4, not sure what gears or rear end I have though.
1986 Ford F150 XLT Lariat 4x4 5.0 EFI
31x10.50 tires. Single cab swb
Np435, Ford 9" rear 3.50
Vehicle weight with me in it 5150lbs and little to no fuel.
Highway mileage 55mph @ 2300RPM nets 16mpg
City and backroad nets around 14 to alnost 15 mpg
With a 2200 pound load of oak I get more around 10 to 11 mpg highway and still more like 12 to 13mpg on the cruising backroads. Its a lot to do with my gearing. 1st through 3rd can pull anything easy on gas but the 1:1 4th requires more throttle with a load.
I need to pull the plastic gear out of my old T-case.
Obviously my speedometer/odometer is off since my drivetrain switch.
There's no way I am traveling as fast as it says. The truck I pulled it from must have had 3.55's

If you have or know someone who has a BlackBerry smart phone, you can use an app called "BlackBerry Traffic" to show your speed via GPS. Close enough to validate.
Other GPS devices should be able to do so as well.
My iPhone has a similar app.
I KNOW I should not be getting passed by almost every car while indicating 75 mph.
Obviously an oversight when swapping transfer cases.

For fast convert, multiply by 0.86. 75 indicated ~= 65 actual, if you're going from 4.10 - > 3.55
One of my cars has 3.07s installed and the speedometer is set for 3.54s... that's a worse problem, and resulted in a ticket a couple weeks ago.
