I bought this Bronco 2 real cheap but a young kid had it and the electrical has been "tampered with". I have no power to the fuel pumps. The pumps run if I jumper them but it doesn't mater if the key is on or off. I have changed: fuel relay, EEC relay, EEC, ignition switch, ignition module, battery cables. Now I don't know where to go. I have power to the relays but the relays have no trigger power, Power goes in but not out.I checked the inertia switch and it checks good. I even by-passed it once. Still no power to the fuel pumps. Looking at the schematic for this, i have power to #1 on the EEC but it is not getting the signal from where ever to put power out to the required items. HELP!
Did a little more looking at this thing. I checked for power at the test plug and found none. I'm taking the EEC to the parts house to see if they can check it. I'm also thinking at this point of finishing up what i want to do to the rig, paint and take it to a garage and be done with it.
EVERYONE CAN NOW RELAX ON THE NO PUMP POWER!! GOT IT NOW AND THIS THING RUNS NICE FOR ITS AGE, NO OIL BURNING. WOW!!!!!!!!!

Reason: Add more to it.
Inertia switch is downstream of the fuel pump relay. If the fuel pump relay isn't closing, by-passing the inertia switch will do nothing.

I'm assuming this includes the EEC relay? The EEC relay is supposed to get it's trigger to close from the ignition switch. If the EEC relay isn't closing, I'd probably start there and try to figure out why the EEC relay isn't closing.
BTW, pin #1 is the keep alive memory power and it should be hot at all times. The real question is do you have power at 37 and 57 (the red wire that comes out of the EEC relay).
hope it isn't an 86, i guess the comp. is specific to vehicle. took nationwide jy search a cpl of hrs to turn one up for mine, hopefully mine'll run wed, or thurs

I don't have power at either of those pins and I have nothing at the self test plug, on any of the wires.. I have power into the relays but not out of the relays. The grounds are all attached and are good. I give up. After painting this, I'm taking it to a garage and have them fix the damn thing.

Yes, its an 86 and I have already changed the ECM. Got the numbers from Ford for it. Took about a week from the east coast. I'm taking it to a garage after I paint it.
between the comp, pickup coil, a new set of plugs, and lots of disty twisting, finally jumping wires over 1 post, it's alive. runs great, tranny, transfer, 4x4 works, getting about 16 mpg.
