2005 Expedition Tire Problem

Newbie here guys.

I found this sight trying to find the problem with my 2005 Exedition.
I might add that we bought this used and don't know the history. It hasn't been wrecked that we can tell or see. Clean car fax for what it's worth.

I have had it to the Alignment shop twice and this thing keep wearing the Right front outside tire off. They say nothing is loose and needing replaced. I might add that it has factory air ride. Is there anything that needs to be looked at that they are missing. It's only wearing the Right front tire and it's only the outside. It will wear out a tire in 20,000 if you don't keep it rotated.

Thank you very much

Its a toe problem. Chances are the shop you are going to does not have very updated equipment. These trucks benefit from a 4 wheel laser alignment machine but only shops with a lot of money get them. I had been through the same issue with my 2003 and finally went to a different shop. Most Les Schawb tire centers have them and so do some Firestone.

Thank you

I went to Firestone, but I guess I will change and try a different shop. I will call and see who has 4 wheel lazer alginment.

Guy I am back. I have had this expedition to ford and they can find anything wrong with the alignment. It was dead on from Firestone.

Has anyone come across something like this?

It will scuff off the out side tire in about 100 miles.

Ford rotated the New tires and it has now scuffed off both tires.

It has not ruined them but it will if this is not fixed.

This 2005 expedition has factory air ride and is 4X4

thanks very much
