traction question e4od

hey guys i have a 97 f350 powerstroke 265,000. this truck was an
ambulance before i bought it. will this truck have positive traction
rear end. how can i find out? thanks for any help.

It should say on the rear axle tag. Look for the code and that will tell you the gearing and whether it had Limited SLip or not.

Look at the tag in the drivers door jamb. If it has a letter and number then you have limited slip. If it is a two digit number then you have unlimited slip. Either of those are both considering that no one has changed them. I got've an axle code link somewhere but am workin from phone so I cant access now. If you look on the axle tag likes even said then you should be able to identify 4.10 vs 3.55 . Also if you jack up the rear and spin a tire and they both spin then you have LS
