gas gauge

I was showing off my truck 2day and my gas gauge won't working. Its all new from the tank to the dash. I only put 4 gals. in it a few weeks back to fire it up for the frist time. Maybe it just don't have enough to register ?

Stock gauge or aftermarket? And yes, 4 gallons is borderline for being enough to register.

There aftermarket blue man. I'm going to fill it up monday and see what i got.

also, check the ground at the tank..

I know this is probably a stupid question but, did you test the sending unit and gauge before you put it in the truck?

You can't have too many grounds. Even though the tank is grounded to the cab it may not be a great ground. It's best to run a separate one. You can usually run a ground wire from one of the sending unit retaining screws to the cab or other place for a better ground...
