I was showing off my truck 2day and my gas gauge won't working. Its all new from the tank to the dash. I only put 4 gals. in it a few weeks back to fire it up for the frist time. Maybe it just don't have enough to register ?

If you still have four gallons in it, it should register about 1/4 full since the tank is a 16 gallon tank. You may need to bend the float arm down a little to get a more accurate reading...
Gound what ground It has one wire going to it. thought it gounded to the cab. ???????
You can't have too many grounds. Even though the tank is grounded to the cab it may not be a great ground. It's best to run a separate one. You can usually run a ground wire from one of the sending unit retaining screws to the cab or other place for a better ground...
