I have a slight squeaking coming from a belt driven component. It's hard to tell exactly where it's coming from, but I point to the general direction of the noise in the video. Any ideas?
Nitro, I would take the belt off and spin every pulley by hand, if everything is smooth and quiet try a different belt.
Dont buy a cheapy, or a NAPA belt, they will start chirping and/or squeeling in a few months.
I almost went crazy trying to find my squeek, and after 4 s**t belts (two from Advance Auto, two from Napa) I bought a Gates and everything is quiet again.
After listening again, it almost sounds like a belt tensioner pulley?
Good news is they are easy to change, and the two smaller ones are around $10, and the bigger of the three is around $30 at Advanced Auto.

Great suggestions. I'll try taking off the belt and checking each belt driven device. Good to know the tensioners are cheap.
Nitro, I've been chasing that noise for several years. Odd thing with mine is it only does it when air temps drop below 43 degrees. It stops or quitens after engine warms unless it's really cold then it does it all day. I've changed belts, tensioner pullys and still no help. I can hit the belt with a little wd40 and it stops for a few days so I'm sure it's something to do with the belt. I have even pulled the belt, cleaned all the pulley surfaces, intalled new belt and within a few weeks and the temps drop, squeak is back. I've just about gave up. Thought I would throw that out just in case yours is cold temp related.
Had same prolbem, Belt was a week old, pulleys good, turned out to be tension belt assembly. simple fix just one bolt between the 2 pullys. Assembly comes with 2 new pulleys already on assembly. $60.00 at Autozone life time warranty and no prolbems , knock on wood.
Sounds like the tensioner to me. If you look at the smooth side of your belt you will see a wear pattern towards the forward edge...a sign the tensioner is starting to lose alignment. PartsGuyEd has OEM for $70ish I think. The idler pulley is less than half that price. OEM belt is the way to go. I have had bad luck with NAPA belts, they just don't last like OEM belts.
looking at the video notice the belt every time the white spot comes around you hear it...just an observation I dont have a clue other than noticing that

If the lettering on the belt is that glossy, it could make the belt chirp on a smaller pulley. Maybe you could scuff it up a little to take the gloss off of the lettering and see if that works.
I had the same thing, drove me crazy, tried WD40 and it would quiten down for a few days. Changed the idler pully, no help, changed belt nada, tried brake cleaner, used the whole can and never had a problem now for 2 years now.
I tried a can of spray belt conditioner on my last squeeky NAPA belt, it only changed the pitch of the chirping, which led me to believe it was a pulley.......no, it was that cheap belt.

Let me state this again, "brake cleaner", your belt conditioner has silicone in it and that just sticks to the belt. You have to clean the belt not just add something that sticks to the belt, changing the belt will help some but all the pulley's need to be cleaned also.
