Wiring questions
I need some help. I am a bone head when it comes to electrical systems. I am putting a 302 from a 86 mustang in my 60 ford f100. I am sure that it is simple to figure out the wiring system but I need some help. I will be converting from the generator to an alternator and am wondering how I can go about doing that. I have the regulator from the mustang but it has more wires that what is in the truck. What do I need to do? Any help is greatly needed. Thanks

Wiring questions
No problem, run a hot while running, wire to the S terminal on the regulator. The F terminal goes to the Fld on the alternator. The A+ on the regulator goes to the battery connection on the start solinoid as does the Bat terminal on the alternator. I would install a voltmeter to keep an eye on the system voltage. 
I am guessing that you have an red charge light, it could be used but the voltmeter is better.
