Highboy Suspension

I have a 77 highboy and noticed the suspension looks like it has sagged alot. I've heard that a stock highboy can fit up to 37's no problem but mine is running on 33's and would rub with 35's. There is only about 4 inches between the bottom of the front leaf to the bump stop. Is this the way it should be? Are there any suspension kits out there that have a softer ride and dont have alot of lift. I dont want to run more than 37's.

You should definitely be able to run 35's no problem, but it seems to be hit or miss as to whether 37's will fit (my guess is either spring sag or different suspension/spring ratings). also keep in mind...just because it is a 77, doesn't mean it's a highboy...if it's before serial number Y20,001 it is. As for lift, I'd probably do a rear shackle flip, then either Deaver or skyjacker springs up front.

Thats what i was thinkin 35's should be easy. Its definetley a factory highboy. Divorced t case, narrowed frame, front crossmember its the real deal.
