37's fit on stock suspension just fine. 4" more lift would be overkill, though 2" beyond stock would be nice.

Here's mine with stock suspension and 37" Irok radials.

The guys are right. The HB can clear some decent sized rubber.
The brown truck is one I recently purchased, it has a stock set of springs and 38" ground hawgs.
The red truck, you can disregard. Also disregard the grilles, I install 79 grilles on everything I own.

I run 37 inch goodyears on my highboy and I have a 2.5 inch lift on the front but I did that so it would level the truck out. My front bumper is so heavy it is probably sitting at stock height right now. No problems at all.

I agree. The entire cab has come off, and this has undergone an entire change. I am in Cali, so shoulder belts are a must, so, I bought a 2wd F250, and used the cab. This truck now has a nice little roller 385 series (true displacement is top secret) and it is is currently being fitted for its D60 14B combo, twin sticked 205, and either 40" or 42" IROKS.
This was just an example of what a rust free stock HighBoy looks like in Cali. Think I scored this for around 1300 bucks.
Anyway, I just used this example since it was bone stock with the tire size that the OP had asked about.

All of my rides sport factory shoulder belts. That California Highway Patrol can be a real pain when I fly by with 40" tires (sounds like a B52) and they cant see a shoulder belt.
My trucks may or may not have some slight problems with tires sticking out, and other rolling violations, I do not need to be pulled over just for a seatbelt infraction.

sounds like what I want to do. d60s on both end with 4 way discs 460 with a 435 and a 205. you guys don't know how lucky you are out west with out the rust. I had to get my 75 from az I still made out good buy the time I found one here without rust or had to replace sheet metal I would have spent more then the shipping.

fordworth what size lift tire combo you have looks killer

Can you even remotely tell how jealous I am .

Some days I actually ponder a trip to Cali with the PowerStroke and a flat bed to retrive some nice, rust free sheet metal .

I may end up being money ahead if diesel prices stay "normal".

Come on out man. You have a place to crash here in Ca.
There are several cabs, beds, and all sorts of sheetmetal out here for the taking.
You have a market, I have the parts. Even have SCS beds.
Almost thought about using one instead of bobbing a regular bed.

Thread Hi-jack complete,,,,,,

Hard to say exactly on the lift. The truck has been through a series of suspension mods over the years. What you see is a combo of a shackle flip, drapped hangers and 6" lift springs for a late model F150 in the rear with the factory blocks eliminated. The front is custom springs with longer shackles. If I had to guess I would say it's around 6" over stock. The tires are 38.5x14.5R17's with some room to spare. Thanks for the compliment.
