yes i do but i dont kno **** about the ratios and what they do but a 4:10 gear is lower or higher not sure my buddy was the one that said to run the 4:10s

What size tires do you plan to run? motor and trans?

Than a 4.10 or 4.56 would be a good gear choise. Decide if you will be running alot on the hwy at speeds over 70 or not.. If not, I'd do 4.56s

nothign wrong with a JY ring and pinion most vehicles are not in a junkyard because of the ring and pinion.

No one addressed WHO is going to set up and adjust the new ring and pinion gears?

This is not a rip-out old, throw in new, operation.

Easiest to set up were the old 9" Fords, now gone the way of carburetors and distributors.......impish

has any one bought a ring and pinion on hear one you buy them do they give you 2 for the fornt and back not sure says sold as a set so i dont no

no you will get 1 ring gear and 1 pinion gear, (reverse rotation for the front) i have not come across a kit that has the 2 sets. but also have only been looking for the front set.

A set of gears wound be for one axle.

Yes 4.56s would be a good choice. That's what I have in my 94, and will be upgrading to 35s soon.

PLEASE. Try using some grammar and punctuation. It will make reading your posts a lot easier.
As far as i think what you are asking, a set means 1 ring gear 1 pinion gear.
