or do you actualy need a code scanner tool to get teh "check engine" light to turn off after a repair ?
reason i ask is cuz i was fiddling around with the seal on my airbox (after the recent repair i had done), and sure enuf the rubber seal doesnt stay in there very well, and when i started it up the seal had popped out again and now the check engine lite is back on..
dont really wanna take it to Ford just to get teh check engine lite turned back off, hopnig i can unplug the battery to get the lite to switch off...
think i'm going to have to order a replacement seal aswell, either that or i'll have to figure out a way to glue it in place, its pretty obvious teh rubber isnt the right shape anymore to simply stay in on its own..
