Red face Need help identifying a rubber elbow...

While looking for the infamous PCV Elbow, I found a rubber elbow that was "sucked in" coming off the rear top of the engine. The elbow has a 1/2" or so hose coming fro it. At teh base of this rubber elbow there is a small 1/8" or so hose coming out that is attached to a plastic post, the small hose has a hose clamp on it. When I removed the small hose fluid poured out. The larger rubber is in bad shape and may have a hole. Anyway, the suction "sucked in" area is at the bend and it looks like the sucked in area is cutting any flow around the 90 degree bend. I appreciate any thoughts you can give. Also, how do you replace this rubber elbow?

You can buy the replacement elbows at the stealership. Do a search for the part number. I have seen it in a previous post somewhere. I have also been told that you can use a 90* spark plug boot.

Thanks! dealership was closed. AutoZone only had a radiator bypass hose in a 90 degree in the same size. It seems to be working I guess I will leave it on, and get the actual one from the dealer to keep on hand.

Thanks!!!!!!

You have to upload the pictures elsewhere (like: Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket ) and then link to them. You can use the yellow image icon at the top of a new message window and insert the image's link in the box, or you can just put at the end of it.

Same Question

I have the same question, what was the fluid that came out of the smaller hose above the 90 degree elbow? Was it brake fluid? and if so will there be a problem with air in the line now?

b) max. file size per image = 97.7 KB
c) you can store a max. of 60 images per album
7) Click on the “Upload Pictures” button

F65Z-6762-CA (replaced F65Z-6762-BB) .. Elbow / Available from Ford.

MSRP: $14.65 // PARTSGUYED.COM price: $10.55.

If you type the original part number into Ed's site, it will supercede it...to this new part number.

When the original part number (F65Z-6762-BB - that you bought) was superceded by the new part number (F65Z-6762-CA), the price went up. Typical of Ford.

I know this is an OLD post but I used it to try to fix my truck . Much rigamarol trying to find the parts others have suggested. Turns out the part at the end of pcv valve hose isn't supposed to come off. It's made to the pipe. And here's the piece
