2004 FX4 tranny issue

2004 FX4 tranny issue
So the other day I was driving threw some snow drifts got stuck kicked it in four HI was cutting the wheel back and forth in drive and reverse and then my trans fault light came on. It's been an amazing truck up to this point. The error code is p0731 (gotta love the edge) and its incorrect first gear ratio...called ford....checked to see if it was the little black piece on the trans that tells the computer what gear the truck is in was ok everything checked out with that. Called ford again and now the said check the fuse's
Now I cant manually put the truck in 1st or 2nd but as far as drive and reverse I can do that but in drive theres hardly any power until about 20 mph....Havent checked the fuses yet but will be doing here with in a half hour...anyone else have any tips?
