strange interferrence sound comming from engine
i have a 2004 f150 4.6 v8 with 95000mi on it. lately almost everytime i get between the speed ranges from 50 to 60mph, i start hearing a weird sound, almost like radio interferrence and very annoying, yet even when i turn the radio off, it still goes. the only way to make it stop is by letting off the gas. if i keep my foot on the gas, and keep it steady or accerlerate it still goes. what in the world could it be, and how do i stop it

hopefully i have found the solution. i think its a dirty iac. heres a link of someone who had the same problem. IAC Cleaning Idle Air Control Maintenance
im going to try this and hopefully it'll work. if it doesn't i'll let you know
