Since it is all under warrenty, my tech said i should get the delete kit.
What would you guys do?
I wanna do the delete, but im worried that if i go on a trip somewhere and my truck breaks and i have to take it to "another" dealer and "that" dealer could void my warrenty for havin the EGR delete and EGR cooler delete.
Or would you go with somthing like this

I just want the problem to be corrected so that i dont have to "open" her up again for a EGR cooler issue

I have only had my extended warrenty for 3 weeks now. It goes till 200k. Quite worth it for $2600 since this EGR cooler repair will pay for what i payed for the warrenty almost twice.
I think i may go this route while keeping the EGR valve intact:

What do yall think? After reading what you guys are say, it wouldnt be smart to delete the EGR valve. But i dont want that OEM cooler in their thats restrictive.

I see what you're getting at, Matt. I'll summarize what I sent you last night, see what the rest of the 6.oh gurus think...
Is it smart to replace such a critical component with a revised aftermarket unit, when the failure of such unit could destroy the engine? I believe the aftermarket cooler is a better design, as it reminds me of the 6.4L coolers, but either way it can break. If it does break and hydrolocks your engine your $2,600 warranty won't be there to help you.
