Roll-Over Valve Part #

I called the local stealer to get some roll over valves for the tank mod and he said it must be obsolete because he showed nothing for the number. I used part #F4TZ-9B593-H from Jim's mod page. Anybody have a new number or know what that valve goes to? I'm using the search function but as always not having much luck.

I don't believe the bigger one is available anymore.

Here is a link that may help ... https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...-tank-mod.html

Well that doesn't make me very happy. Now I've got a modded fill neck with no larger valve. I guess I'll use a pipe fitting if I have to but I like the idea of a roll over valve.

Anybody else done this and have suggestions?

The part # from Jim's mod is obsolete, I just used brass fittings on top.

There is an even larger roll over valve that uses 3/4" tubing that someone used. Don't know the part number but you can get it from ford...

Maybe he will pop in here soon.

Does the Ford roll over valve fit into the existing grommet or do you have to widen the hole? I like the idea AND look of a single vent hose from fill neck to valve. Sure would like to just get the Ford part.(never thought I'd hear myself saying that)

He put a Bronco tank in his dually and did the vent mods at the same time IIRC. There may be some info in his fuel system build thread.

It's still a good number. It has a 3/4" hose barb so at the filler neck, I used 1/2NPT x 3/4" hose barb straight fittings. Works perfectly and I'm guessing vents better with the bigger line than the 5/8" would.
Bla bla bla bla for the 10 character limit...

F4TZ-9B593-G It was in his 38 gal tank thread. I'm gonna call Ford and see if they have it and price
Edit: must have been typing at same time as Chase

You got it Chase! Except I put the 38gal tank in the dually, not the Bronco. Close though!!

Bought those not even a year ago at my local Ford dealership. Number is good. IT does use a 3/4" hose and not a 5/8" like Jim's did.

For the vent line, I went to a local farm/ranch supply store and bought a 15" roll of 3/4" diesel transfer tank line. Cut the ends off and cut to fit with extra left over. Was about the same price if not a tad less than large gas line was at NAPA. And it's specific to diesel.

Can fill up without issue now. Fill on the fastest setting till it clicks off. Then not much more is needed till it's too the top of the filler neck. I love it!!!

The 38 gal is not the bronco. Bronco is 33gal!

And surprisingly I do have my contacts in today!

CRAP!! It is discontinued now. My dealer is out. They show a couple dealers waaay out of state to have for $41 so I'm gonna call and see how much shipping would be. Do yall think any of the SD tanks have the same size holes and bigger valves?
