97 f350 reverse slip
Hi folks well supposed to leave fpr FL in the am an the dealer calls and said the truck when hot the tranny slips in reverse and he has it in the shop, maybe a small repair or a major he will not know till in the am. thrck has 237000 on the clock and with the help of this board let him know that these trannys are only good for 200000 or so. So whay ya'll think

Ugh. After reading your other post about looking at purchasing this truck, I have to I would be a little nervous. Slips when its hot? Can't tell for sure w/o actually seeing the truck, but it sure sounds like an internal seal leak; Fluid gets hot it gets thin and can blow past a hardened or torn seal and drop pressure. Could be a lot of things, but that's the first one that comes to mind.
