Or your not getting fuel....

Owner states that if it is plugged in it will start.
What is the ohms for a good glow plug? and bad?
What rpm does it need to fire while cranking?
Try plugging it in, since the owner said it will start when plugged in. If it does, then something is going on with either the glow plugs or GPR.

tomorrow morning I am going to jumper the glow plugs from the batts to the harness connector after the relay for about 30 sec then try to start it. I will see what happens then!
I am thinking that there is a connection problem between these two points and I an not getting the amperage that the glow plugs need.

Just jump the 2 large terminals on the GPR.

I replaced the gpr today and no difference. It is drawing 150 amps now
I did get a code for camshaft sensor circuit A bank 1 (Forgot the # right now)
took a good look at the connector and the terminals looked spread apart so i closed them with a small screwdriver.
after that the truck started but it had been plugged in for about a half hour.
Question though I had the intercooler pipe off on the cold side from the engine to the cooler, when it started and ran for a couple of minutes I tried to accelerate the engine to wot but it would only go to about 2100 rpm no more.I put the pipe back on and then it would go to 3400rpm ????
I do not think that the intake pipe would make a difference on wot with no load?
But here is the weird thing when I try to do any engine running test with AE the engine stalls immediately. KOER Kills it, cylinder contribution kills it
the engine runs well when we got it running no smoke idles nice.
Rotational velocity on Cly 1 Is 7.5% Cyl 8 is 9.5% this concerns me, But it should still start! rest are all 0.0%.
injection pressure at 3400 rpm is about 3200psi.

So we let sit it till this morning and the da$% thing started.
the owner said it sounded like had a little miss when it first started, but after 1-2 minutes it ran perfect.
Told him to move it outside and try it after a couple of hours at -20c
he is going to put two new batts in first then try.
Thanks for the help guys
