i cant get the fuel filter off, i did ever thing i read, open gas cap, pulled both fues under hood craked eng, press needile valve on fuel rail, got tool sliped it on push it in pulled pushed yank ever that cant get eather side off of the fliter i gonna break this s**** soon cant take it no more what am i doing wrong
Yes they can be a PIA, you are not pushing tool in far enough, or the tool is too thin.
Push the tool in then push the pipe and tool just a smidgen further (to release spring retainers), pull tube without pulling back on tool(keep it depressed as far as possible.

If you are using the PLASTIC tool, it is much less likely to expand the spring fingers than a METAL one. I slipped a very short piece of very thin wall tubing, metal, over the "nub" on my plaswtic tool, pused it in, and the damn tube slipped right off! The tubing must be of such OD that it will FIT inside the quick-release; also it must be SLIT lengthwise to slip over the pipe, just like the plastic "tool". Try it!
ok i been working on cars for 20 years and this is the first time i could never get one of theses off its too the point were its fing insane let me run trew the steps maybe i am missing somthing
step i do
back truck on to ramps
open hood and gas cap
pull 20 amp fuse under hood and truck dies
tun over truck for 20 secs
push neddle valve under hood fuel rail
turn truck over again then push valve again
turn truck over again then push valve again
go under truck us meteal tool use platice tool push in as far as i can
the push pull line and i am pulling and pusing on tool as hard as i can and nothing wtf
