Fuel filter removal

Fuel filter removal
I have a new fuel filter for my 94 150 4.9,and can't figure out how to remove the fuel lines from the filter.It looks like they just push on but i can't get them off and don't want to break something.can any body give me a hint?

i broke mine off because i had the same trouble, the filter should have new clips with it, but they ar plastic, but you can pry them with a screwdriver but be careful not to puncture the line or bend the metal ends on the lines.

the new filter has no clips and the old filter also has no clips,it looks like a slide of push fit and it turns on the fuel line.a search returned" no matches found" after several different word combinations

go to auto parts store, ask to see the fuel filter removal tools for a ford f150 style filter. you can choose a metal tool or the plastic one. i recommend getting the cheapest plastic set they have. use it on the circular hidden spring on fuel line. look in a manual they have pictures of this type of clip.
