I have one of those extended windowless cargo vans. The mirrors are pretty good and it came with a back-up camera system but in order to see out the right side of the van, I had to install a second camera and a 3rd for viewing the interior. the 2nd and 3rd camera have a separate 7" monitor from the original back-up camera.
Sooooo, in order to wire in a 3rd battery to get the clutter of wires off the dashboard, I was hoping someone could tell me if it was absolutely necessary to use heavy duty battery cables or if I could run some 6 ga. wires to a Neg(-) buss bar and 6 ga. to the Pos(+) batteries and a fused switch board dedicated to the camera system and accessories...like maybe an inverter for TV and computer stuff.
Mostly I was worried about the starter trying to draw current from the 3rd battery on the 6 ga. wires.
