I worked all weekend and today we got slammed with snow with wind gusts over 50MPH Heck of a work day. I climb into the SD and she fires right up. I put her in 4X4 and drove through the city, on the highway and through county roads just like she was on dry pavement. It made the hectic day at work seem minimal getting to play in the snow a bit.
Everytime we get snow here, I car pool with my wife to work! I don't want to get my new truck dirty! I know....don't bust my chops, I need to drive the Superduty in the snow and use it as designed......but the newest hasn't worn off yet....Plus my undercoating "may" still be tacky...maybe......and I just polished the chrome!!
I'm sure glad I don't have to deal with all that snow and road salt crap...
Lovin the Texas weather!
But you're missing out on all the fun. Frozen water pipes, fingers, dog water bowls... At least the kid is not complaining about finding the dog poo or that it is too soft to pick up!

I took a relocation to North Dakota for a year and a half. The first winter I found something else that was fun. After the first car wash (company truck) --- one of those automatic kind where someone is standing at the end drying it off. When I got to work it was really fun opening a door that was frozen shut, when it was finally opened the door seals were attached to it.

I hate cold weather.
Naaah, cold weather's FUN!
I'm about to go outside and start the truck, it's -10° F out here. We'll see how she does without the block heater!

I'm going to guess it will turn right over!
Was 18 F here this morning at 6 AM, truck idled right to 1,000 RPM after it turned over. That turbo sounds great spooling up soon after.

SGT93......Semper fi Devildog!!!
I have a guy at work who takes an old camry in the winter instead of his new GMC. Cracks me up when I see him do it. Semper Fi!
