It's about timw we got some measureable snow

Here's my snowfall pic from the snow we received yesterday and overnight. My truck was parked at about 8:45 last night when we got home from dinner. And my wife's Lincoln MKS that's is parked next to my truck was parked all day long since she is able to work from home on Fridays. I will say this, the truck handles all this snow like a champ. Can't wait to see how the Lincoln does since it's AWD and she got it just before Christmas. PrinceValium that Lincoln was my wife's early Christmas present. Hehehe.

No offense. But why have a 4x4 if it's never going to snow and or mud? I'd just get a 4x2 then.

We got 7" here in Louisville, KY yesterday; This past Wednesday we got 5". It's been fun for me! I grew up in Cleveland, OH. I actually enjoy snow.

You guys can have it. We didn't get any up here in Maine. We only have about 8" on the ground from previous storms.

Meanwhile in Alaska we are getting ready for the whole next week to be near 40 and raining.

I have not seen a storm over 6" since March 2014...this is getting REALLY old.

Everyone's pics look great, I'm very jealous!!!

We grew up in Stockton Springs, Maine and now my sister lives in Searsport, the next town over. She was poking me pretty hard as they didn't get squat.

Here on the Virginia coast, we got blanketed with about 3", then rain and ice then another 3".

My beast is a snow eater for sure! That was fun. The thing that sucked was I had to carry mail Friday and Saturday in this mess.

I'm up the NH/ Mass line just a 30mins from Boston and got nothing. That's because I wired in roof deicing cables, bought a plow for my tractor, installed a whole house generator for the horse barn and house. After last year it was needed. I'll take all that getting unused and getting dusty any day.

I love it; Good for you for being prepared for when you need it. I don't need all that as I live in an urban Louisville neighborhood known as Germantown; however, I have seriously considered the generator. We had a severe ice-storm (2009 maybe?) and I was without electricity for 9 days. The highs were only 15 degrees with lows around 0 after the storm. It was pretty bad!

Must be good to know you have it as a security blanket.

Seems like that always happens haha! I bought a new 30" Ariens snowblower at the end of last winter and I've only been able to use it in two tiny storms so far. I'm about 20 mins south of Boston

You guys can come get all you want. Here's what I'm dealing with. Also need to ditch these mostly worn Alenzas for some BFG KO2s cause the deep stuff is not very confidence inspiring.

Those BFG's are a great tire but finicky about the type of snow. Had them on a lifted Cherokee XJ. One time I drove a virgin road with 13" of snow, and another time I literally came to a halt in 6" of snow that was wet. The tires didn't clear out.
