I am about to search this stuff but figured I would ask also in case there was something I left out .
I am in the middle of several mods at once .They are turbo rebuild with WW ,delete pedistal and 1.0 non wastgated exhaust housing.New IH bellowed up pipes .New Riff Raff plenum inserts ,boots and CCV mod .
I have the turbo and pedistal out and apart and have put in the new bearings .Its ready to have the exhaust housing ,adapter and intake side put back on.
I still have to take out the factory up pipes and install the bellowed ones.
When I put everything back in I will install the inserts ,new boots and CCV .
Now the question .What all needs to be torqued and what are the torques ?What should I use loctite on and what color .
Thanks for all and any input .
Hello Corey, Can't help with any of Your questions. Just wanted to say I am enjoying the chip. It is bad to the bone. Still haven't had a chance to tow yet, I am wanting to though.
I was told to use red locktite on the exhaust side of the turbo and blue on the compressor side. It wouldn't hurt to use locktite on the pedestal and turbo hold down bolts as well. Here is a link for the torque specs and procedure: http://www.dieselorings.com/docs/Pow...structions.pdf

That's exactly what I did. Red on all the turbo bolts except for the compressor housing, which got blue. And I tightened the exhaust side bolts to "ohmygod" tight. The turbo hold down & pedestal bolts I torqued to spec...
Thanks fellas exactly what I was looking for
Floyd glad you like it I enjoyed it while I had it .
Did come up with some more stuff while I was looking and got a couple more questions .
I am deleting the ebpv ,wastegate and AIH .If I have read evrything right all I should need to do is get some 470 ohm 1/2 watt resistor and wire them in. Is this right ?
Joe I say in some earlier post that you had suggest night use a 470 ohm 1 watt resistor .Did you try this or just the 1/2 watt ?

I think either resistor will work. On most trucks it will just set a soft code and not the check engine light. Just make sure they don't short to ground. How do you delete the wastegate?
While I was researching the other stuff I found where Joe and some other people had deleted it electrically since they had turbos without wastgates .They got rid of the hoses and the plug at the front of the spide is where they put the resistor
Turbo is rebuilt ,upipes are in loosly and I decided to get some lunch .If I wasn't so computer dumb I would get up some pics . I did find one thing that I have not seen mentioned .On the drivers side uppipe where it bolts to the manifold I found that with about a foot long extention and a swivel I could come in thru the wheel well and get to both nuts .Also I dont know if this is normal but to get to the bolt heads I had to drop my exhaust down and seperate it so I could slid the down pipe back enough to get a wrench in .I could not get my downpipe to seperate from the back exhaust so I pulled it loose at another joint farther back
