I agree, the Lincoln Mark VIII fan is definately the way to go. It's two speed in a single fan that matches the factory radiator profile very well.

I love what you guys have done with your rads, except Sparky's job is the best looking I think. Hand made and shiny is just awesome IMPO. Awesome job everyone. This interests me even more now since it looks so easy (easier said than done, i know).
So im guessing you all just take your chances at the local junk yard, trying to find something decent? I know first today said that he has made many pulls lately, but what about everyone else?
I wouldn't mind doing this to my truck (351W setup) just so I ensure zero cooling problems.
Great work everyone! Anyone know what a pulled MarkVIII is worth from a wrecker?
I went with a 96 ford Tauras electric fan. The also are know for pulling alot of air. Mine was 30$ and I wired it to a flex-a-lite thermostat switch that you can set it to turn on between 160-220 degrees. I have mine at 180 and I also run a power wire spliced into it when it turns on so a large LED light on my dash lights up when its running so theres no guessing. I also have a 1 wire hookup custom made 160 amp alternator that is made to put out 100 amps at idle which is ideal for me offroad using my winches. As for mounting you could build a bracket but the easy way is to use a flex a lite strap tie kit that goes through the rad fins Flex-a-lite 3910 - Flex-a-lite Fluid Cooler Mounting Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com
I have been getting them for around the same price as bullitt. I am going to paint my shroud and radiator black. The t-bird are more readily available than the mark VIII's. I may make another shroud for my 302 radiator though. I am thinking the 4 core 460 radiator and the electric fan may be overkill. The temps get well over 100 degrees here in the summer though.
SparkyRnD, that is some terrific work. I do not have those skills.
Aaron, did you get your power steering bracket worked out? PM me so not to hijack the thread.

THanks. I build these for a living, so I've had a little practice. Had a guy with a blown big block and needed one for his bumpside, so we built a prototype. Liked it so much, made one for the dent.
Ive got an ebay aluminum rad. paid 259 bucks... very professional, my thermostat stuck open and the truck wouldnt warm up running in mid summer down here in fla.
