At 12700 miles this warning just came on my message center...I called one Ford dealer.."they had NO idea" I called another one and they said they would do research and get back to me...2 hrs later they called and said they ordered the additive (quarts only) they informed me that I would need to bring the truck in and they would test the antifreeze with "test strips" and they would determan if they additive was needed at that time (of course this is an extra charge)
It seems really early at 12k to have to start having this tested...
It's normally going to be every 15,000 miles, but the PCM adjusts as necessary depending on operating conditions.
