Head lights
I want to replace headlight assembly on my 2000 excursion. I saw on net a projector pair for super duty. Has anyone applied projectors to their excursion. What do you think. I do know I have option of 2002 headlights and blinkers and markers.

I have been keeping up with this and a lot of people have complained that the silver part of the after market lights turns black after several months and they sweat from not being sealed. I choose to go with the 2002-03 factory lights and got a set on e-bay for $175.
I got a set of clear turn signals and I noticed Sun. that they had a little sweat in them. I have had them about 4 months so far and I am watching them closely. Hope I helped .

Don`t tell me this. I just spent 4hrs putting APC`s in last week. Don`t believe them when they say 1hr, the harness is to short, trimming you have to do, ect. I did add silicone to seams and sockets. I also put in the diamond vison turns. I know i`ve read about the turn sigs collecting H2O,and drilling 2 1/8 hole`s in them so they will drain, but I haven`t read about the projection head lights. Say it ain`t so
......... p.s. have you allready got that overhead console set up you got off of EBAY last week?.............. I was just reading the wrightup on it and........... POOF!.......... some guy named birdman uses Buy It Now and it`s gone.......... HUMMMM......wounder who that was??? this MONGO from the X site

Yup I bought it!!!!
I got it yesterday and it is sweeettttt. replace's the factory one with a extra 12-14 inches longer for the TV. Mongo, there should be another one soon. I bought instead of bidding cause it was cheaper, the first one went for $425. The box they send it in was 7 feet long though. Good luck on the projectors though Birdman127 is my name for every site on the computer, makes it easier to remenber with all the ford truck sites we use!

One came up right after you bought that one. The price was right for buy it know. You got a good deal. I`ve got to wait, no work, no play money.

Ya, it was planned. The name was already taken. the guy hasn`t used it in 2 years. I`d sure like to have it, but I don`t think there is anythink I can do. Maybe there is somebody else that can, hint hint wink wink nod nod. I used it on a licence plate once, still wasn`t right. I`m MONGO
